Charlie Arehart

Charlie Arehart, Founder/CTO of Systemanage, is an Allaire Certified Developer and Instructor who may be best known for his monthly "Journeyman" column in the ColdFusion Developer's Journal (CFDJ). He has also contributed to several other magazines and books. With nearly 20 years experience in enterprise IT he's a highly regarded consultant, providing coaching/training services to development teams large and small, and a frequent speaker to CF User Groups (CFUGs) and developer conferences throughout the country. |
Jon Brundage |
Jon Brundage is a consultant in web development and information systems. He holds a BS degree
in Small Business Administration from George Mason University, and has specialized in applying
Microsoft Access and Macromedia Cold Fusion solutions for professional and government
organizations. As webmaster for the Washington, D.C. field office of the Department of Veteran's affairs, he is an authority on meeting the new Section 508 requirements for Federal webpage design. | Mike Chambers

Mike Chambers has been creating applications primarily utilizing Flash, working with ASP, JSP, PHP and ColdFusion. Recently he has been working with Flash and embedded devices, contributing to the "Macromedia Flash Pocket PC Player Authoring Kit". He has spoken about Macromedia Flash and Generator at Macromedia UCON (Spring 2001), and FlashForward (NYC 2000, San Francisco 2001). He is co-author of "Generator and Flash Demystified" and is currently working on a book on Flash development for embedded devices. He is very active in the Flash communities, regularly participating on forums at were-here.com, and flashkit.com as well as the Macromedia newsgroups, and the Flash Coders mailing list. He also created and maintains markme.com, a Generator and Flash resource site. He has worked extensively to expand the capabilities of Flash and Generator, authoring over 10 new Generator objects, 3 Flash smart clips, and the Flash SQL component kit. |

He is a TeamAllaire member and speaks frequently on successful development with Fusebox. He is a monthly columnist with "ColdFusion Developer's Journal" and is writing a book on ColdFusion for Prentice Hall to be published in February, 2001. He holds training/mentoring classes for companies who want a proven method for developing Web applications. |
Matt Liotta

Matt Liotta started his development career at the age of twelve by building C applications for faculty at Emory University. He built his first web page soon after the release of Mosaic 1.0. Excited by early web applications, Matt saw the potential to replace legacy client server applications. At Emory University he built an enterprise calendaring system, the faculty poster project, a Y2K compliance tracking application, and a prototype for an electronic research administration system. Since then he worked with an early ASP, Cignify, to build their transaction processing system for payroll time data. He also built a code distribution system for Consumer Financial Networks, as well as the first online account management system for
Grizzard Communications. Matt did consulting around San Francisco for companies such as Williams Sonoma and Yipes Communications. Soon after, he built gMoney’s Group Transaction System using an innovative XML messaging architecture that matches conceptually with the now popular web services paradigm. Later at TeamToolz, he designed a highly secure and scalable network architecture to support N-tier transport agnostic distributed applications. Matt now enjoys his role as Portal Engineering Manager at DevX where he is working on a next generation content management system. |
Steve Nelson

Steve Nelson is the CTO of Zero-G Commerce, Inc. He has
been a member of Team Allaire since '97, and is also the Chairman of the
Fusebox Organization which has attempted to create a standard "Open CF
application architecture".
Steve has recently created an almost complete testing tool for finding bugs in your ColdFusion applications. Be sure to ask him to buy you a beer and he'll tell you about the tool. Or buy him a beer and he'll answer any CF question you have. |

Timothy Nettleton is the Sr. Cold Fusion engineer at Virtualscape, a Hostcentric company. He has worked with Cold Fusion for nearly 5 years and manages one of the largest Cold Fusion Environments in the
world. Timothy is CF5 certified and has spoken at CFUGs across the NE US about Application Server stability strategies, CF/DB performance tuning, and application security.
He spends the majority of his time working with managed service clients and proactively managing the shared CF hosting operations. Mr. Nettleton will speak for his second time at the National Cold Fusion Developer's conference which will take place in Orlando this year. |
Robi Sen |
Robi Sen is the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Software Development at Granularity, Inc. Mr. Sen has been working professionally in the software development world for the last 13 years since he was recruited at the age of 16 to develop software systems for Westinghouse Hanford Co and the Defense Department. He worked for Westinghouse and various government programs on and off for 5 years.
Mr. Sen's chief areas of interest are in the creation of a new breed of network-based applications and the development of "Intelligent Agents" or software systems which can interact with humans and other machines in a "thoughtful manner" making context appropriate decisions for their user without having to receive instructions from their user. He has spoken widely on these topics and has most recently presented a series of classes to the American Management Association entitled Electronic Commerce. He is also currently working on a book with G. Hussain Chinoy for Morgan Kaufmann Publishers entitled "XML/EDI: The Future of Electronic Commerce" as well as finishing a book on Allaire's ColdFusion called Developing ColdFusion Applications. |
Michael Smith

Michael Smith is President of TeraTech, a 11-year old Rockville,
Maryland consulting company that specializes in web and database development. TeraTech has developed sophisticated data-driven web sites for a wide range of organizations, from corporations to government agencies. In addition to ColdFusion, the TeraTech staff also have extensive experience in SQL databases, ASP, HTML, Access, Foxpro, Visual Basic and more.Michael has been programming for over 20 years and has been coding in ColdFusion since version 1.5 four years ago. He has an MA and BA from Cambridge University, England and graduated in the top 10 of his year.
Michael runs the Maryland ColdFusion User Group and organized three very successful CF events including CFUN-2k with 700 attendees. Michael volunteers at ByteBack, a non profit organization which provides computer training for unemployed and under-employed inner city residents. He also is a frequent contributor to Fusion Authority, the ColdFusion Developer Journal and the CPCUG monitor. |
