If you go to http://www.cfconf.com/cfun-04/topics.cfm and click on "Presentation" and "Code" under each topic, you can gain powerpoints presentations and code samples. Are we going to be given a set of conference notes that cover all the sessions? Yes. You get a book of notes plus downloads of the notes and any code samples. ![]() Absolutely. There is some coffee and tea provided at the beginning of morning and afternoon sessions, plus there is a cafe/bar in the hotel. What should I expect when I check in Saturday morning at the conference? You should have your registration packet ready, which will be delivered to you in the mail. This packet will include your namebadge, so bring that with you as well. When you get in line, read the directions at the front of the line. Be sure to collect your goodies, materials, and carry bag. I have had every intention of attending one of your events but either was not available or the topic was too advanced. I am a Flash / Director / Dreamweaver multimedia developer and am interested in ColdFusion but have not yet pursued that interest. Can you recommend an event that would be appropriate for someone familiar with Macromedia products, but a novice in ColdFusion? I am particularly interested in the collaboration between ColdFusion and Flash. A: The CFUN-04 event has a ColdFusion bootcamp for beginners to ColdFusion. We also have some sessions on how to integrate Flash and ColdFusion! As a beginner, will I need to bring a laptop with me to participate in the sessions? No. Materials will be include in the showguide. You can pop in the cd we provide for you and follow along. The rooms will be setup theather style without tables to accomidate a lot of people. But there will be wireless internet so you are welcome to bring your laptops. As a beginner, do I need to bring any CF books with me or need to know DreamWeaver MX intensely?
